To start, we make it a priority to fully understand your story and vision. From there, we develop a series of sketches and end with fully rendered proofs prior to printing and production. Once your wedding invitations have been designed and approved, you have the option to keep the party going and continue with day-of items for your wedding weekend.

Our typical client spends an average of $1,500 on save the dates, $5,000 on wedding invitations, and $8,000 on day-of items. The total investment may be higher, or lower, depending on the project complexity and desired quantities.

Let’s work together! This step gets the ball rolling, and ensures trust between both parties. Before we start, we require a 50% deposit and sign off on our Stationery Agreement.

So, you’ve signed the Agreement and paid the deposit, and now it’s time to get to know you and your future spouse. We’ll send you our questionnaire to fill out. This is a great place for you to tell us who you are, who your future spouse is, your identity together, and your respective styles, dreams, and ideas for your wedding and life together. We use everything! The more we know, the more personalized we can make your suite. This step might be followed up with a brief phone call or email to get a complete sense of your overall aesthetic.

During this time we also send over a rough timeline, as well as an address template so you can start formatting your guest list.

Based on our conversation and the questionnaire, we’ll send Proof 1 your way. Proof 1, also known as the 'sketch proof' includes three main elements: design style, color palette, and sketches of our initial concepts. This step ensures that we’re on the right track and may be repeated a couple of times before moving to Proof 2.

Once the Proof 1 has been approved, and both parties are happy with the design direction, we will start to paint and apply graphic styles - bringing the vision to life. Proof 2 is a fully rendered, realistic, visual of all your suite items. Colors, fonts, and illustrations have been fully developed and applied.

This is the last proof we send prior to printing and production. At this point, we do minor adjustments to the design, update any wording specifics, and start to chat about postage and any embellishments (if not previously discussed).

Prior to printing, we’ll send you the Final Design Release Form with the final invoice. This is your chance to double check each piece we’ve created, along with all of its specifications. Once we hear the final “OK!”, printing begins, followed by assembly and finally, mailing!

At this point we start discussing your day-of items .

We recommend reaching out as soon as possible. We take on a limited number of custom clients. We typically book clients a year, or more, in advance.

We recommend mailing save the dates 8 months - 1 year prior to your wedding. We recommend mailing your main invitation suite 10-14 weeks prior. The timeline may adjust if needed.

Day-of items include anything pertaining to your actual wedding weekend: menus, programs, placecards, etc.. Want to do something out of the box, great! We encourage it!

Because these items are heavily inspired by the invitation design, we reserve day-of items solely for custom invitation clients.

We prefer to start day-of items as soon as the wedding suite has been completed and sent to print.
